<ahem> Everyone has their right to an opinion. I expressed mine. I 
admit, I did express it a bit emphatically, and I admit I was perhaps 
out of line for the manner in which I expressed it. However, I do not 
believe that this entitles me to the flames I received for the 
comments I made. I, like anyone else, have a right to my opinion. If 
I were advocating boycotting all fanfiction using the dub names, that 
would be one thing. As it is, I in fact read and enjoy many fanfics 
using the so-despised DIC names. On the same token I also read many 
fics using the original names which afterwards I regret the time 
spent reading them. 

The point I am trying to make is that I have an opinion, I am 
entitled to it, and as long as I have not hamed anyone expressing it, 
then there is no need for the more vocal among us to apply the 
kerosene and the matches.
