You know, Mr. Davies, most of the rest of us would have tried civil
dialogue, before flames.  
(Personally, I like the DIC version.  It brought a good cartoon to the
American public.  It changed names and so on to make it more palatable.
It had a few errors, but it was good.)
As a reader and a writer, I reserve the right to feel how I like about
such matters.  I've deleted fics for getting names wrong, bad line wrap or
those "smart quote" things...If Mr. Morrison wants to see Japanese names,
he has every right to see Japanese names...
