I wish that I could answer your question but I was going to ask the same
question today.

I'm planning a Gunnm - BGC X-over and I have been trying to find out more
on how Gunnm ends or if it is still on going.  For me the question I have
is if Alita (Ok so I have been bainwashed by Viz :)) has ever fully
remembered her past, this is important as I want to do a story on the
origin of Alita.
