	"Ranko-chan, shall we talk privately for a moment?" Nodoka said
from the guest room as her 'niece' walked by.
	Onna-Ranma swallowed hard as she followed her mother into the
room.  The masquerade she was obliged to indulge in whenever her mother
came to visit was bad enough, but the elder Saotome's desire to make
'Ranko' more of a 'lady' could scarcely be endured.
	"Ranko, please be honest with me." Nodoka said as she closed the
door, "Do you have any intrest in finding a husband?"
	'Ranko' blushed crimson and stared at her feet.  "N-no Auntie."
she muttered softly.
	"I see..." the older woman replied as she pulled out her hairpins,
"I doubt that you've 'been with' anyone yet....
	"Is it safe to say that you prefer women, Ranko-chan?" Nodoka
asked quietly.
	"H-hai." Ranma whispered, her eyes still downcast.
	"Don't apologise Ranko-chan," Nodoka said in an oddly husky voice,
"there is no need to be ashamed of such things."
	"Y-you mean that y-*URK*" Ranma said as she raised her head just
in time to see her mother's kimono fall to the floor.
