Here is part three of the B-Day fic
"Wednesday, April 16"
On the morning of April 16, Genma Saotome begins setting up the big screen television that
he had rented the previous day. Discovering that he is unable to lift it without the help of the delivery
person, who aided him in getting the thing to the house, Genma goes to the kitchen and splashes
himself with cold water. Anyone looking at the courtyard is greeted with the unique sight of a panda
carrying a large television into the Tendo's dojo.
Meanwhile, Ranma is fighting his natural urges to insult Akane and pummel his father. "I
cannot interfere with their preparations," he thinks. "I have some of my own to do, also," he says
aloud, brandishing some sort of blade. He begins doing katas with it. They are odd; instead of
graceful movements one would associate with the high martial arts, Ranma is moving the blade
around a fixed point.
Kasumi is in the kitchen preparing breakfast, as she usually does. Anything else would
indicate that the end of the world is at hand, unless she is preparing lunch, dinner, or doing some
other chore that would be considered domestic. However, today, Kasumi is also preparing some
Cuban coffee. Not just any Cuban coffee mind you, this is strong Cuban coffee. This is Cuban coffee
with a strong enough scent to dissolve nose hairs and a strong enough taste to strip the enamel off
your teeth.
Soun is at the post office, apparently waiting for an important package to arrive. When the
mail comes in, he immediately rushes over, grabs his package, and checks its contents. After dodging
the usual hail of gunfire that accompanies a visit to the post office, he smiles, thanks the clerk, and
leaves.
While all of this is going on, Akane is practicing knot tying, under the supervision of Dr.
Tofu. He is training her in some basic pressure point techniques in order to make sure the naturally
strong knots cannot be broken. This is, of course, just an insurance measure.
Nabiki is asleep. You wake Nabiki up early and see if you can sing above a soprano
afterwards.
Meanwhile, at the Nekohanten...
"Mousse, you dumb duck, why you no tell Shampoo Ranma order ten deluxe ramen platters
for Friday morning?" Everyone's favorite, because she's the only one, purple haired Amazon
splashes Mousse with a glass of water and punts him through the ceiling.
Later...
"Oh, look! What a cute ducky! I keep you forever and ever and I'll put a green bow around
your neck and I'll name you Pate!" Asuza screams jovially as she dances around with a dazed white
duck. When the duck realizes what is going on, it whips out a really big... I mean really huge... I
mean a... well it really is only average sized, but that is still pretty darn big for a monster truck.
Climbing into the truck, Mousse flattens Asuza as she hugs the tire, shouting "Wow! You look like
an actor I've seen! I'll name you after him! Girard Depardieu! GiraAAACKGLUBBRL!"
******
I ended "Wednesday" on a happy note, but now things are gonna get freaky. You thought "Bitter
End" and "Happi's Delight" had mental and physical anguish in them? Well, they did. If you
haven't been keeping up with this thing, one of the NF members is having a birthday, and this is a
birthday fic for her. It's being posted to all of the newbies along with the FFML because of the
inconsistencies I've been noticing with the FFML. Sorry if you're getting this thing twice, newbies.
