This is that quite simply a lot of the people on this list are doing
their damnedest to write good fiction but their efforts are not being
rewarded with any C&C. These are the people who, to be quite frank
are the ones who need it most if they ever want to improve. Added to
which it's hugely discouraging to not even get so much as a peep out
of your peers after you have put so much effort into crafting your
work.

Just 'cus you don't see much of the C&Cing on the list doesn't
mean it's not happening... I know that when I C&C, I rarely send it by
the ML, prefering to just send it directly. It also seems to me that
C&Cing goes up and down depending on the time (ie. it's finals time, so
providing feedback, and writing in general, kinda gets shuffled down the
priority list).

I dunno. I doubt very many people get as much feedback as Zen
got, and maybe he doesn't need it (although I'm fairly sure he'd argue
that), but I'd say he certainly _deserved_ it... Is there really that
much of a shortage of C&C on the list? (I wouldn't know, I havn't sent
anything in a while...)
