Does Ranma still need the Dragon Whisker to keep his hair 

growing?

If not, when and how did he cure himself?  And why does he still 

wear a

pigtail then?  Thanks for taking the time to read (and, hopefully,

The effects of the dragon whisker soup wore off shortly after the 
dragon whisker story. Ranma still wears a pigtail because he's used 
to it.
