<Jusenkyo Chronicles: Part 1>

Considering that this is my first attempt at writing fan
fiction I sincerely hope that everyone is patient with me.
I would prefer any C&C to be e-mailed to me and don't worry
about spelling and grammar okay.

PROLOGUE

There was nothing here. Nothing except this perpetual
mist that seemed to litter the floor, masking it, making it
impossible to see. On this stepped a woman. "Big deal!"
some of you are probably saying, and in ordinary
circumstances you would be right in saying that. But this
is not your ordinary circumstances and she was far from and
ordinary woman. She was the creator of worlds, and the
keeper of those worlds that she deemed worthy. She was
walking towards one of her favorite creations, a world
called earth. The planet wasn't as beautiful as Rexia which
was a long ways away but the people here were more
enjoyable, more unpredictable, and full of emotion. She
smiled slightly at this, she enjoyed playing matchmaker, and
this world gave her so much opportunity to do that. That's
why she kept coming back, whenever she needed a little fun.
She approached the planet and felt a slight pull at her
corporeal form as it descended towards her local
manifestation. A place called . . . Jusenkyo.

PART 1: THE GUIDE

The Guide sat in his house thinking about his life, his
place in the world and more importantly what was he going to
make for dinner. His place in the world was easy, he was
the high priest of Jusenkyo. All of the people that have
come here did not know that Jusenkyo was in fact a goddess,
they only thought that it was a training ground. He
chuckled a little, even the amazons were not completly aware
what their goddess was. He suddenly grinned, not even the
honorable "Jusenkyo preservation society" knew about her
true nature. He only wished he could tell them how wrong
their beliefs and laws were. The Guide sighed, he really
wanted something good for dinner. He started rummaging in
his food stores deciding what to eat when a bright light
started appearing above the cursed springs.

The Guide ran outside to meet her. The Lady had come
back. This made him exceptionally happy. It always made
him happy to see his love. The light stopped shining and in
it stead stood a lovely woman with raven black hair and
stunning blue eyes. She wove a white silk kimono around her
naked body as she descended to the tip of the pools. The
Guide sent his thoughts out to her.
"Hello love, I am glad to see that thou hath returned."
"It is always a pleasure to be with you love.",
Jusenkyo sighed, "Be there any new delights to entertain
myself with."
"Art thou playing the matchmaker again?"
"And if I am!?" The voice in the Guide's head was
filled with a mocking self defense.
"Then thou hath no need to look further than a special
group of people that thou hath 'cursed'. I believe that
thou took extra pains the last time your beauty graced this
world, to turn one Ranma Saotome into a female." A small
smile played upon the features of the goddess. "I see thou
hath remember indeed. It appears that the child is in a
very strange situation." The Lady gave him a puzzled
expression. "That one was not only cursed with your magic
but he is cursed with other things: He has a surprising
amount of fiancees, and he has the inability to express his
true desire for the one fiancee he actually cares for."
" 'Twould be no fun. A simple push and he shall admit
it freely."
"Nay my Lady, he hath a strong will and would not bend,
I believe, even to your sway. In fact his situation is
quite humorous. He is engaged by a arranged marriage to one
Akane Tendo."
"You mean that in this era they still arrange
marriages. Methinks the process is quite outdated."
"It was my lady, but they seemed to believe that it was
done in good taste. The children thought otherwise. They
are the one's that have difficulty expressing their love for
each other. The story however gets quite intriguing. He is
also engaged to a Amazon named 'Shampoo'. He defeated her
in combat, thus by tribal law she is supposed to marry him."
"I thought he was in Japan?"
"He is my Lady, but I believe one you know well has
taken a personal matter in this. She feels that the whole
tribe's honour is at stake."
	"Is it 'Cologne'?"
"Yes my lady, 'tis her. But the plot thickens yet
again. Methinks however, that thou should enter their lives
and see for thyself. 'Twould be best."
"Thy judgment as always is correct."
"Thank you my love, but before you depart I ask two
things."
	"They are what my love?"
"The first is quite simple," the Guide blushes a bit,
"a simple kiss would make my heart soar, and my life more
bearable." Jusenkyo laughed, a light tinkling laugh, and
kissed him soundly. "Thank you my love, the other is that I
fear the "Preservation society" needs to be taught a lesson.
They once tried to interfere with the people you cursed
telling them that the curse was all in their minds." The
Lady's eyes glinted a cold, imperious stare.
"Then let us teach them a lesson they shall never
forget."

*********

The Jusenkyo Preservation Society was a very secret
society. No one knew their goals but if you broke their
supposed code they came after you. The Guide looked
secretly at them through the bamboo, he couldn't help but
smile. Finally these pompous windbags would get what was
coming to them, yes with interest.

***
The vice-chairman of the council was finishing his
discussion with the group. He hated that fact that he had
failed. He hated the fact that it was he who lost Kinney so
that Kinney could become a priest. What he hated most of
all was that he had to submit his resignation and return to
his hometown, people mocking him all the way. He had
already explained to the council what had transpired, only
now needing the courage to submit his resignation. He felt
as if the weight of the world was on his shoulders.
"Don't feel bad", a voice from on high told him, "You
do have the weight of the world on your shoulders." The
vice-chairman looked around surprised by the noise. He
stared at the faces of the council and with one fluid
movement he quickly backed away. He shouldn't have
bothered. What he saw had astounded him, there was a woman
floating in midair. He rubbed his eyes with disbelief and
stared at her some more. "Well at least their creator's
weight." The floating woman said. She smiled a tight and
cold smile that for some reason sent a shiver down his
spine.
"Who are you?" One of the elders asked, his voice
filled with fear.
"I am the one that your "society" believes in
preserving," she sneered, " I am the creator of worlds, here
I am known as Jusenkyo." She stared at the group promising
nothing but pain with the look in her eyes. Then she spoke
again. "Well gentlemen, I have finally grown tired of your
meddling." There was a bright glow that filled the
clearing, it grew brighter and brighter until the Guide
hiding in the bamboo squinted against the bright light.
When the light was gone the preservation society was no
where to be seen.
"Lady," the Guide sent out his thoughts, "where have
they gone?"
"To a world much like this one," a sly smile creeping
up on her face, "except that to say the word 'Jusenkyo'
means instant punishment. Those cretins are in for a very
rude awakening."
"What type of punishment would incur?" The Guide was
curious.
"Why they would be dipped in water my love, water that
would change them into . . ." ,Jusenkyo paused for a bit,
"statues, monuments to remind other of the folly of
preserving the word 'Jusenkyo'." She laughed a pleasant
laugh that was apparently infectious because the Guide
started laughing with her.

***********

Joketsuzoku. The village of the Amazon women that is a
feminists paradise. This matriarchal society had little use
for men, some agree with that, others disagree with it
completely, but who's opinion was right doesn't matter. It
was a sunny day and there was enough wind to make the heat
of summer bearable. Jusenkyo noticed none of this as she
flew off towards the "Council hall" where there was a
council of matriarchs already in session.

***

Fei Pang sat looking at the other matriarchs. A slow
smile sped across her face. She had successfully made the
other matriarchs banish Cologne until she had made that male
marry her great-granddaughter. A task in her mind that was
impossible to complete, how could any one other than the
Amazons understand the concept of honour. She was still
smiling until a bright light started growing in the middle
of the council table.

Once the light had dissipated a woman was standing in
it stead. She was wearing a white kimono and had blue eyes
that could peer right into your soul, those eyes made Fei
Pang shiver with fear.
"Who are you?" One of the elder matriarchs demanded
sternly
"I am the goddess Jusenkyo. . ." The others backed
away in fear. They did not care that this was not the way a
warrior behaved but no woman could ever defeat a goddess.
"What do you want?" Fei Pang asked.
"I want you to go to Japan and take that meddling
Cologne and her great-grand daughter Shampoo back here now."
	"Why?"
"Because I have plans for the boy she so desperately
wants to marry Shampoo off to. She is in my way." The edge
on her voice made the whole room's temperature drop a
fraction of a degree, enough to be noticed.
"It will be as you command my Lady." Fei Pang had
decided as soon as the goddess had given her the command,
that she would not go to Japan. That would leave her
position on the council open to her enemies. She could not
at this time go to Japan to chase after Cologne and Shampoo.
Fei Pang believed that she could trick the goddess Jusenkyo
like she had tricked the communist government. Smile and
nod, but continue what you were doing as if you hadn't. The
Lady looked down at Fei Pang and said in the most off handed
way.
"I shall be in Japan as well." There was a look of fear
now apparent on Fei Pang's face. "I would be extremely
disappointed if you did not show yourself." Jusenkyo left
the chamber very much pleased with herself. She had
straightened everything here in China and it was time to go
to Japan. She smiled slightly . . . this is fun.
