Alright, this is basicly about how I became an Otaku, only a little
exaggerated... not really a Fanfic, but the first story I've ever
actually finished... C&C would be appreciated, etc, so enjoy! ^^
(the formating probably sux, sorry ^^;)

I walked in.... the room was a mess -trash everywhere, on the
floor, out of drawers, on the bed... everywhere. And On the walls, were
posters of characters I didn't recognize, but the art seemed similar to
an artist I had seen before, somewhere...

But in a corner of the room, with Video tapes all around it - they were the only thing that was
really organized, actually. Was a TV, about 2 and a half feet
across, with two VCRs under it on a lower shelf -it looked like
the‘record' and
‘play' buttons were almost worn off of the VCR...
I blinked, and said, "what a mess! How can you guys stand it in here??"
I looked to my brother, who shrugged and said, "You get used to it after awhile, I guess, and it's
Not *That* bad!"
"Yeah," Tev said as he walked in "My room's not That bad." He pulled the junk off a chair,
and sat in it. I sighed. Maybe I could get them to get a maid...
	 oh well.
"So, what's this ‘Anime' Mike talks about so much?"
Tev reached down to a video, and picked it up, he then pulled it out of it's case, and handed the
case to me "That, is an example of Anime." he said, as he put the tape into
the VCR, and hit the button marked "Rebob."
"So... it's a cartoon?" I asked, looking at the characters on the case.
"Well... Jappanese animation, to be exact." Mike spoke up.
"NEVER call it a cartoon, you hear that? Never." Tev said, looking at me with a serious
expresion. I blinked again, and shrugged "Um.... O.K...."
Just then Mo - we call him Mo for short, it's better then saying his real name - walked in,
with a glass filled with juice of some sort, in a glass with a picture
of a panda on the side.
"So, what we watchin'?" He asked, as he pulled the junk off one of the chairs that made up
"The Bridge" - they called it that because it was a set of
three chairs, in the same arangement as the bridge of the starship Enterprise,
on "Star Trek".
"We're gonna show Mike's sister what Anime is. We're gonna watch the Ranma ˝ OAVs."
Tev said, as the tape stopped rewinding, and he went to go get something
to snack on "Wait up for me. O.K?"
I was too busy looking at the cover of the video to notice, and for some strange reason
I was drawn to that picture on the front.... then Mo looked at
me, and asked, "Ever seen Anime before?"
I replied, "I've seen some stuff that looks like this..." I looked at the box, "But not much of it."
Mo nodded, and said, "I'm sure you'll like it.. But..."
I looked at Mo, and blinked "but?"
Mo looked somewhat seriously at me and said, "Once you've spent a night here, watching anime,
	 you can never get out."
I blinked, wonering what in the world he was talking about as Mike chuckled, and then Tev came in
	 "Alright, everybody ready?"
I sat on the floor, well... what I could clear off, and looked at the
screen as Tev turned it on.
I watched the video... and was mezmorized.... how many frames was that a second?
Must have been a lot, the characters moved so smoothly, and it
was much better then Disney, heck, Disney had nothing on thses guys! I
was in wonderment, and fell in love with the storyline...
Mo, Tev, and Mike looked at each other and smiled, knowing they had yet another
new die-hard Otaku in there midst.

"And the day will come... when the Otaku will rule this planet...!"
- Yubo, Otaku no Video

-The End.
