Cologne is given (in the Ranma 1/2 Memorial Book) as:
Ko Ro N
Best I can tell, this means "little essay", if the first o was long then
it'd be "dispute".
The Katakana is used consistently, so it's hard to tell how to break
this into words. (We have punctuation, the Japanese have Kanji, a highly
compact system of writing where eighteen brushstrokes indicate one
vowel, to be followed by half a dozen modifying Hiragana, but at least
the silly pictographs anchor the words so they don't have to insert
spaces!) My Guess is that it is two words:
Ko Ron
Make sure that you use a harsh full strength english R, so that nobody
knows what you're talking about.
