the team since he's actually competent! and the guy from GS Mikami... er-

You can only be talking about Tadao Yokoshima, Reiko Mikami's assistant. 
Although apparently Yakuchin, runner of the Yakuchindo magical shop is a bit
of an hentai too, I'm taking a friend's word who has seen more of the series
than me for that guy, he wasn't in the mangas I had. Just went and read the
Ghost Sweeper stories in all the Shonen Sundays I happen to have.
