The worst reaction I ever got to a 'fic wasn't tears (though I cried
when I wrote it... a lot.  Killing Nene is not an easy thing, especially
the way I did it).  Most people said that Bubblegum Collapse just left
them numb.

As for the saddest story I've ever read?  Well... I've not read a lot of
true sadfics.  Depressing stuff on the other hand... my vote goes to
Leifker's "A Man I'll Never Be."

Of course, I haven't had time to read "Bitter End" yet...

READ IT.  I haven't read A Man I'll Never Be, but my vote for saddest story 
I've ever read goes for Bitter End with NO hesitation.  I finished reading it 
about an hour ago, and I'm probably review it after I read it a second time.
