Prologue:

Falling into the Spring of Drowned Cockroach was decidedly inconvenient,

I'll say. People trying to crush you with shoes, spraying noxious
(notice I did not say *lethal*) bug-sprays at you, millions of relatives
dropping by...

"Agent provocateur", too, although I've never been quite sure exactly what that
means. It sure sounds impressive, though.

As far as C&C goes, the narrative seemed to drag on a bit. If not for
the amusing premise of the narrator being a cockroach, I would have
moved on after the first three paragraphs. Just take a little off the
ears and bangs and thin it on top.
