Well, I admit to being impressed with the writing quality of Bitter end, 
though I did have my problems with it I consider it a well writen fict that 
streached and twisted the bounds of likelyhood without wiping them out.  Still I 
am the sort of person who deals with things like this better if I can give it 
some sort of definition.
	Ok, Bitter End is a near realistic worse case senerio of Ranma and 
Akane's marage.  And being who I am this makes me think of possibilities.  What 
are the possibilities for a worse case storyline of Marying the other characters 
without straining possibility too much.
	Ukyo's the easiest.  Ranma's relationship to her reminds me of a 
character from an episode of "Designing women"  Marry Joe had a Male friend.  
They were best friends, they loved each other "Just not THAT way"  It was a fun 
episode, she had agreed that if they weren't maried when they got old they'd 
marry each other.  He was willing to count old as being their age, however Marry 
Joe wasn't sure.  Ultimately she decided that she didn't want to.  It wasn't so 
much for her, it was because she felt that he ought to be given some more time 
in hope he'd meet someone who he did love THAT way.
	Anyways, for a worse case Ranma Ukyo marage, it's the oposite of "Bitter 
end".  Akane and Ranma's relationship was a feirce fire that got tossed into a 
jug of Nitro in "Bitter end".  Ukyo and Ranma's relationship on the other hand 
is a warmth.  Most Ukyo-Ranma ficts assume that the warmth will spark into 
actual Romantic feeling on Ranma's part, however in this case let's assume it 
doesn't.  Ranma's married to Ukyo.  Initially He works in the Resteraunt, then 
he either builds or starts working for a dojo.  Ukyo has to deal with the fact 
that she's seeing less of him, and that he's a lot happier than he was when he 
was working for her.  And of course there'll come the time when she'll buy some 
sexy Lingere, and try to help him celebrate an important moment, and Ranma will 
lie down, close his eyes, then open them and with total sincerity ask "Oh you 
didn't want to make love, did you?"(Ok that's a steal from Sibling Rivalry, I 
admit it)
	Shampoo's a bit harder to think up.  Still I can see one where Ranma 
marries Shampoo and goes back to the village with her.  He arives and insults 
one of the elders, they fight.  Then he breaks another rule, there's another 
fight.  Basically it's a storyline where Ranma moves into the village, and 
despite trying he keeps breaking village rules and custome because that's just 
the kind of guy he is.  And Shampoo is caught in the middle.  Ranma talks about 
everything he can't stomach about the village's rules and double standards, and 
the elders yell at her to keep her husband under controll.  Plus Ranma being who 
he is, the village threats and punishments give him the oportunity to see quite 
a few special martial arts techniques, and Ranma is smart enough to learn some 
of them, and create new techniques drawing on others.
	Kodachi...  Well there are so many evil varients on the Ranma Kodachi 
matching possible that I can't really say anything is a worse case senerio.
