	Are you asking about his return to Japan with the Chinese 
Acrobatic Circus?  Ranma was pinned to a target and this duck came out 
and threw knives at him.  Then Mousse captured Akane, tied her down in a 
tank and threatened to magically turn her into a duck before the very 
eyes of the audience.  He counted on Ranma's interference (the water for 
Akane was not, as I recollect, actually cursed), and tried to spray sod 
duck water on Ranma during the rescue attempt.  Shampoo rides to Ranma's 
rescue on the back of a tiger.  The water misses Shampoo and Ranma, but 
turns the tiger into a duck.  The cursed water threatens to hit the 
audience and in the process of changing its course, Ranma appears to hit 
Akane with it.  When R searches for A, he finds -- a duck.  Believing 
this to be Akane, he takes the duck home and tries to change it with hot 
water.  Unable to do so, and discovered by the Tendo family, he has to 
prepare to marry the duck.  

	Oh, and is it just me, or has the list not been sending anything
out for a bit? I didn't get any notice saying that I was unsubscribed, but
mail.fanfic.com _is_ pinging.

	The list has been coming and going a bit.  I get nasty notes from 
our unix administrator about overfull mail boxes for a few days, then 
almost nothing, then back to overfull mail boxes.  Up and down.
