Hi, all.

I posted a bit of silliness called "The Bittern End", which you've probably
gotten by the time you read this. It was a spoof that I wrote in 5-10 minutes,
and after discussions with the Newbie Forum, I'm worried that some might take it
the wrong way. That spamfic is making fun of a certain fictional character, and
that's all. The suggestion that spousal abuse might be hopeless applies to that
character ONLY -- and even then, to the caricatured version of that character
shown in this spamfic. Spousal abuse, or any other abuse, is NOT hopeless for
REAL PEOPLE -- and I urge anyone who is in that situation to obtain help where
they can.
