I for one stand besides both Hitomi and Gary Kleppe in saying that any
censorship is wrong. Each person has their own right to write as they see

several states. An educated man is dangereous to tyranny because he knows
how to choose. I fyou take away those choices, then what is left to stop
tyranny?

A very good argument. We don't want to become a tyranny.

There's only one flaw in your argument. It's my understanding that this
isn't an issue of censorship, but of threatened harrassment. Catkiller is
allowed to have any opinion he wants. He can say that otaku are evil,
devil-possessed, baby-eating, boar-buggering bastards that the deepest pits
of Tartarus threw out for being too nasty; I got no beef with that.

If he and his friends start sending horrendous amounts of hatE-mail that
threaten to blow up my account, I am going to be over them like last years'
fashion, because they're threatening _my_ ability to express myself.
Harrassment is wrong in snail-mail, telephone calls, and E-mail, as it is a
violation of someone's sense of security and personal safety.

I also read that he violated the homepage policies of his host (geocities).
If he was using his own equipment and applied for his own domain, he would
have truly unlimited ability to put anything he damn well chooses on his
homepage. However, his host retains the right to set rules for appropriate
uses for its services, and his homepage doesn't measure up. If it's true...
well, too bad for him.

He can say anything about us he wants as long as we remain unmolested.
However, if he carries his threat through and harrasses me, I will strike
back.
