Akane's reaction to Ranma is very simple.

She hits him when he threatens the relationship.

She really goes ballistic whenever onna-Ranma suggests that she should
search for a man.

The difference between Zen and myself, is that when I have Akane kill
Ranma it all winds up happily ever after.

Ukyou, despite being a violent scheming crossdresser, isn't a perfect
match for Ranma.

No, Ukyou is a perfect match for Akane.  (Back to "No Need for Ryouga".
I just need to write up Kasumi's engagement. (Yeah, it's cliche, so sue
me.))
