Don't ask me why this has been playing around my mind, but for the past
couple of days, an odd idea has been playing around the corners of my mind
for a Tenchi Muyo fanfic.

So far, I have yet to do a darkfic . . . and I think this would qualify as
one, but I wanted to get some feedback on the idea before I go into a word
processor and start typing up the story.

The premise is this:
	Ryouko and Aeka are almost continually at each others' throats;
the rare exceptions are usually when one of their friends - or especially
Tenchi! - is in some kind of danger. Even then they tend to keep trading
barbs, unless they're already in the thick of combat.
	What if that got out of hand? What if Ryouko and Aeka were so mad
at each other that they completely stopped caring who was in the line of
fire, or actually in the way . . . and one of the others tried to get in
between them and stop it before the powers started flying?
	And to be more specific . . . what if that someone was Sasami?
(Out of the entire Tenchi Muyou cast, I think Sasami would be the most
likely person to try and break up an argument that was about to cross the
line into open warfare, especially when one or both might get seriously
hurt in the process. Particularly in Aeka's case.)

The story would take place after the "accident" happened . . . come to
think of it, that would have to be a darkfic. Very solemn, very
depressing; the actual story would be some of the characters dealing with
Sasami's death.

I'm not going to give away all my ideas just yet . . . plus I need to keep
paying attention to other projects that are in the works. (Unfortunately,
I don't respond to prodding very well, so the prodmeisters may as well not
waste their electrons on me. Sorry guys. ;)

So what do folks think of the idea?
