Er... I'm not really sure what I'm searching for with this email, but
here goes... Sorry if you think this is spam, but it is for the express
purpose of helping me write something, so I hope and think it's valid.

I've been receiving a goodly amount of C&C/replies to my Neko series
(for which I am grateful, thank you everyone), and three topics seem
to always surface. One is, of course, the problems that Ranma's curse
is going to put him through. Another is the... ah... 'reconfigured'
love triangle between Akane, Ukyou and Ranma.

And the third (and most popular) are those lemmings... I am honestly
shocked at just how popular those little buggers seem to be, and just
how many people seem to like them, and how people think they work well
as Kodachi's followers. The response about them has been nothing
short of incredible. So... as I try my best to finish up Chapter 7, the
chapter that has the most similarites to the manga so far (I'm trying to
avoid having too many plot points from the manga cropping up, I want this
series to be a little different from most of the other alternate 'verses),
an idea has taken hold of me and won't leave me alone, much as what has 
happened for every other fic I've actually _completed_.

What I'm trying to get to is this: I'm thinking of writing a seperate
Kodachi side-story, set in the months she presumably spent in China, 
when she got her curse, and just how she became a 'Lemming Queen'. Why not 
set it up as a flashback, like usual? I just want to go into a bit more 
depth, make it as big or bigger than Chapter 6 was, and that's just getting 
too big for a flashback, in my opinion. I want peoples opinions. And I 
don't really know what I want from these opinions, it's just that I need 
some outside views _fast_. Tell me you like the idea. Tell me you hate it.
Tell me about the pet lemming you has as a child, just tell me your opinion.
I need... I don't know. But I'll know it when I see it, so please give me 
your opinions on _anything_ about the idea, from like/dislike, to things 
you think Kodachi would do over there, to names for the little buggers...
I mean, lemmings, to _anything_. I just... I don't know... it's like I'm 
trying to find a snowflake in a meat freezer that needs defrosting, when I
have been raised in the desert, and never seen frozen water before...

I'm drowning in my idea here... help me by giving me a cup of water...
