Before I begin with the story, I would like to go into a little
background on the Revenge Wars, so that you know where exactly this all
came from, and who deserves the credit (blame?).

First off, this September/October a line of Spam was started by SKJAM!
where Ranma and Akane entered the real world and attempted a reverse
Otakufic - Essentially they attempted to solve all the problems in his
life. This was the first, a proto-revengefic.

Then Frosty posted his challenge: Write a story where the characters who
you have written about come back and exact revenge on you for your
writings. This was the beginning of the Revenge Wars.

Soon nearly every author had been visited, and 90% of the FFML had a
Jusenkyo curse. This was the first fic I had ever written, and I enjoyed
it so much I did two of 'em. Some people even wrote counter-revengefics
where they payed retribution to the animates who had attacked them. A
pocket dimension was set up for training (named Fred) and various
organizations were created to combat the anime menace, such as MONforce
and LPAC. The number of messages crossing the FFML jumped to nearly 300
a day.

The Revengefics were so prolific that someone suggested whe do a grand
unification fic, where we discover the source of the Revenges. This
mastermind was dubbed (?). Unfortunately, the revengefics died out
before this happened, and people lost interest.

Then Wyrm posted a counter-revengefic called "Filling a Plot hole". For
some reason this rekindled my interest, and I decided that _I_ would be
the one to create that grand unifying fic, as a sequel to Wyrm's. Idly I
posted to the FFML requesting permission to use other authors, expecting
maybe four or five to respond.

The number of volunteers is now I believe over 40, including some of the
best fanfic authors on the list, such as Nightelf, Zen, Webdragon, etc.

This meant that I couldn't stand to do this as a hack job. Another
author by the handle of Ranchan secured the use of the RRML (Round Robin
Mailing List) for the development of this new fic, dubbed "Revenge's
End". My free time abruptly evapourated.

"Revenge's End" has now evolved into the Revenge Wars, a trilogy of
which the first is "Revenge's End". Large tracts of this fic have been
written by authors such as Barry Cadwgan, Webdragon, David Row and
others too numerous to mention, so I cannot claim author status, merely
that of 'Producer'.

I hope you enjoy this series. It is far from over, and is already the
longest fic I have ever conceived of, much less written. Send all
