Everyone in Ranma 1/2 gets more powerful when angry...at least women do,
which is how a mob of ordinary teenage girls can trash Happousai :)

Try again for a 'Ranma gets Akane' fic, but this time instead of assuming
that it will be a disaster, assume that BOTH of them will work to keep it
going, bad good or indifferent.

But they don't. If they actually worked at their relationship, the series
would end pretty fast. Their problem has always been that they almost
never TRY to work at their relationship, and when they DO try, something
goes horribly wrong and nothing comes of it. To the extent that their
relationship survives, it's DESPITE their conscious efforts, not because
of it.

"But I wonder whether people who ask God to interfere openly and directly
in our world quite realise what it will be like when He does. When that
happens, it's the end of the world....For this time, it will be God
without disguise; something so overwhelming that it will strike either
irresistible love or irresistible horror into every creature. It will be
too late then to choose your side...That won't be the time for choosing;
it will be the time when we discover which side we have really chosen,
whether we realized it before or not. NOW is the our chance to choose the
right side. God is holding back to give us that chance. IT won't last
forever. We must take it or leave it."
