Has anyone noticed the trend toward addressing major social issues?  
"Happi's Delight," "Never Too Old," and now "Bitter End" all address 
major social problems which face society.  I'm very interested in hearing 
from the authors regarding whether the drew inspiration from each other 
or not.  I am currently writing an issue into a fic of mine, but I had 
the idea planted into my head previously.  Is anyone else?  

I don't know about the others, but Happi's Delight was originally 
based upon a chance comment, as well as it was April Fools Day when I 
thought about it.  I decided to continue it about five minutes into 
writing it, surprise, surprise, as I thought that it has a valid 
point to it.  And, well, I also started writing it to see how far I 
could go with my writing before I grossed myself out.  Truth be told, 
I'm getting sicker in the writing, and I haven't been grossed out, 
yet.  Oh, well.

All stressed out?  Sometimes it helps to think of happy scenes.  Maybe a pastoral field, a field
with a babbling brook.  You're there on a lovely summer's day...holding someone's head under the 
water.  Now you're letting them up for a second. Then blam!  Back into the freezing water!  Over
and over again!  There.  Feel better?
