Hey, Ryouga!
<What!>
Read this for me, please.
<Hmph. Okay. Let's see . . . Disclaimer-Ranma, grrr, and all related
characters were created by Rumiko Takahashi and do not belong
to the author of this story. X-Factor and all related characters
belong to Marvel Comics. Don't sue me. Why would they sue me?>
It means me.
<Oh.> Shrugging. <This story takes place sometime in Ranma, I'm not
sure when. It as for X-Factor, it takes place back in the good
old days, when Peter David wrote and it was funny, some time
       before The X-Cutioner's Song.>
Thanks Ryouga-kun. Now don't get too lost. I may need you again
       later.
<Uh . . . yeah . . . sure.>
Now that you know (and knowing is half the battle) all of this _vital_
	information, on with the story!

A S.P.A.M. production

X-Factor/Ranma 1/2 crossover
	Prologue

Open to two shadowy figures.
*Bored? * says the first. It is the voice of a young man.
*That's an understatement, * grumbled the second. This voice
sounded the same age as the first but female.
*You were the one who chose this time line to watch, * chuckled
the man.
*I know . . . but everything has gotten so predictable lately!
Very few of the main groups are interesting at all anymore! They all
act the same. Even the time travelers are copies of each other! *
*That bad?* Vigorous nodding. *Hmmm . . . why don't you throw a
kink in? I mean if what you say is true, the time line is already
corrupted. Whatever you do can't be any worse. *
	*Weeeeeeellllllllllll . . . heh, I even have an idea. * She
giggles. *This'll be good . . . you may want to watch this. * Giggles
again and starts talking to the screen as she adjusts an oddly shaped
control panel that had just appeared. *I'm sorry Jamie . . . just
because I'm doing this to you doesn't mean I dislike you. In fact, I
like you enough to take notice of you. Just relax and you'll be fine .
. . *
*What are you going to do?* asks the man.
	*You'll see . . . *

Cut to a park. Verdant grass contrasts with a brilliant blue sky

as the bright sun shines down on the parks inhabitants. On such a
beautiful day, the battle taking place in its environs seemed vastly
displaced. Energy blasts flashed through the air. Loud BOOM's echoed
as man mountains clashed. A feral growl was heard as deadly claws were
utilized.
All the combatants are paired off with and opponent. Focus on
Multiple Man as he reaches out and sucks in several dupes with a POK.'

At his feet was Tempo who had been, until a few seconds ago, holding
Quicksilver in the wavering bonds of her time distortion field. Not
having expected the abrupt change, he shot off into the distance. There
was a brief flash of light, not incredibly bright, which left, when it
receded,
a
young woman. The young woman grabbed Multiple Man's arm and studied
him closely.
	"What the . . . " he exclaims.
"You'll do!" she declared, grabbing him by the arm. "Next stop,
China." With a brief flash, both vanished. Only Peitro, who was
returning from his trip,' noticed, the others being too caught up in
their own fights to see the disappearance. However, before he could
alert anyone to the event, he was attacked by Reaper and could do
nothing.

Open to a familiar valley, whose floor is dotted with a myriad of

springs in all sizes and shapes. More numerous than the springs were
the bamboo poles rising from the glassy surfaces of the water. Some
springs supported one, some many, and from a very few rose none at all.
The guide sat, as was his habit, looking out over the springs.
Suddenly, there was a flash and two figures appeared above one familiar

looking spring. The woman released her hold on the man and he fell,
screaming, into the water.
"Ooooo. That spring quite popular lately," remarked the guide
smoking his pipe.
Jamie groggily began to stand up after his recent plunge into the

water. There is something different about him, something not right,
but we cannot tell what it is yet.
"Now to the final destination," the woman said grabbing the back
of Jamie's trenchcoat.
In a flash they are gone.

*That was mean. Curses are tough to deal with. * comments the man upon
the woman's return.
*He'll be fine. He's made of quite tough stuff."
*But he doesn't know any Japanese! *
The woman leans over and pushes several buttons.
*Now he does . . . Don't worry about him. I even sent him to people
who can help him with the curse. *

Open scene showing only a heap of brown and blue.
A young woman with short black hair dressed in a school uniform
walked up and looks concerned. She knelt down and began to shake the
unconscious form gently.
	"Hey. Hey! Are you okay?"
"Mphhhh! Cut it out Rhane. I'll get up in a minute. Tell Lex
to keep his shorts on . . . " Jamie rolled over to reveal some . . .
changes.
The black haired young woman looked perplexed for a moment. Then
she tried again. "Look, miss, you shouldn't be in the middle of the
street like this."
"What!?! I'm not a miss!" Jamie shot up at the sound of his'
voice. It was distinctively higher than it had been when he had last
heard himself speak. Dread covering his face, he looked down to see .
. . breasts.
Naturally, he did what any semi-normal male would have done at this
point. He passed out.
"Oh! I can't leave this poor girl here!"
So Akane lifted Jamie's unconscious body over her shoulder and
headed home.
