There's a reason Ryouga's acting a little OOC. After all, several 
important facets of his life have just changed within about a half 
hour's time.

1. Ranma is no longer engaged to Akane, leaving the path wide open 
for him
2. He has permission from Souun to court Akane
3. He no longer turns into P-chan
4. He now turns into a girl
5. Akane, thanks to Ukyou, knows about Ryouga's feelings

It would be a major load on anyone's mind to go through that much 
change that quickly. At the point at which my 'fic trailed off, 
Ryouga is very much in shock. He'll recover a few paragraphs down the 
line.
