Cool. People spamming over the intricasies of writing. This is
getting interedting.
     Hey, it's a FFML. :) We're supposed to help each other's writing.
BTW, isn't the pun you're searching for "interediting?" :)

Okay, as stated before, this was (I never read it) a fairly informal
piece, therefore, the author can go by any rules (s)he wishes.
Although it is preferable that the writer write formally in a
fan-fic, it is by no means mandatory.
While true, I think that everyone can use improvement. I know I
can. I mean, we're not perfect, are we? :)
Also, while not essential to the story for it to be correct
gramatically, it does help the reading of the story.

Think about it this way...not everyone is a language expert...look at
all those 'fics out there with two or three misspellings, grammar
mistakes, etc. per _sentance_. I don't see you complaining too
loudly for them, now do I.
Well, usually if I like the fic and it is chock full of grammar
and spelling errors, the author gets a private C&C where all of those
errors are corrected. If there are only a few errors (actually, there
was an error that was missed in the NukuNuku fic, right above the
elipsis error :) and I am doing public C&C, I will usually point out
those errors.
