Yes, I've had this problem, not directly on this ml (I'm too new at the
moment :) ) but I've had it when they pick stuff up from my website. and the
net.

Any other gripes?  Any I missed (probably a lot...:)?

I got one for you, they assume that if you post a story as part of one
*universe* that anything else by you is related to said *universe*.  Or they
read the wrong prolouge and then apply the situations in that to the current
production and comment.
