1776, yeah! Hmmm... can we arrange a crossover here?
"Face it, Akane, you're obnoxious and disliked."
"FRANKLIN NO BAKA!"
Don't give me ideas. I just did the 'Pins/Saltpeter' scene
in my mind with Ranma and Akane. Either I'm tired or that whole
exchange is enough to reduce normal people to spastic fits of laughter.
It's not that you're tired... I'm getting the giggles thinking about it.
This MUST be done... (when I find the time).
Agreed. Collaboration?
(Great! You write the songs and I'll script it out. We can
shoot for a 4th of July release.)
Open:
In front of the curtain, TENDO AKANE, in late-18th-century men's clothing,
addresses the audience:
AKANE
I have come to the conclusion that one useless man
is called "Genma", that two are called "the Saotomes",
and that three or more become a dojo. And by god
I have had this dojo...
How's that for a start?
I'm madly mapping R1/2 characters onto 1776, and weird things are
happening.... Somehow, for instance, Shampoo and Richard Henry Lee are
blending into each other, resulting her bouncing around singing "The Xians
of Joketsuzoku". And of course, Happosai and Franklin have to overlap at
some point... "Woohoohoo, whose little girl are *you*?"
What do you think of Mousse as Jefferson? "He plays with martial toys..."
or something like that.
