No, it's not too early. Write on. If you keep on waiting for other
works to fade away, you'll NEVER write it. I can tell you this right
now: a friend of mine is writing a mother of a darkfic, one that will
knock everybody's socks off once it's released. When it gets released,
it's probably going to cause a buzz to rival "Transitions", if for no
other reason than Kun-chan's going to want the boyo's head on a silver
platter. In other words, write now.
