  Not that I have seen.  For a while, the author had no internet access,
and while he claimed to have not stopped writing, the last I heard from 
him was soon after rec.arts.anime.stories became rec.arts.anime.creative 
because I told him of the switch.  :-)  He was on RanmaMuck, but I 
stopped popping up there over a year ago.  I did ask at one point if he 
could forward his stuff to me, but he never did.

YIPES!!!! @.@ That's me you're talking about . . . this is what I get for
not paying attention to every thread on the ML; I'm glad I ran into this
post.

All right, current status of The Shuriken Cycle: . . . 

Posting: Part 14 is next in line, as I recall; right now the only hitch is
my figuring out the newsreader program I finally laid hands on. I tried
importing part 14 to post, but something was weird with the margins (you
know how some posts here will appear with irregular line length? That was
what I saw on-screen) and I did not post it . . . 
	As soon as I figure out the finer points of posting a file, Part
14 will be on its way to r.a.a.c.
	(Incidentally, if anyone can shed some light on the question of
importing a DOS text file into a Windows program, please write to me
*individually* . . . thank you.)

Writing: Currently on part 22, but right now the series is a lower
priority because of various other projects I'm working on . . . which
include a Shuriken Cycle appearance in the Converging Series mega-fic
(I'm working on it, guys, I swear!), and a Bubblegum Crisis novel which I
*hope* I'll be able to get published commercially.
	There's a considerable backlog of the Shuriken Cycle to post, and
once I get that in gear I hope to post a new part every week or two until
it gets caught up.

In short: Yes, the Shuriken Cycle is going to resume.

Oh, dear, I guess that I shall have to string him up by the toes, 
now.  Aw shucks...:)

Don't even think of it . . . ^.^;;;;; otherwise I'll *NEVER* get it
finished.
