The whole "slash" motif is examined in a book well-reccomended to this
reading list...
       It's called "Textural Poachers" and is about the active fan
community movement and this by itself seems to be interesting...but when
applied to onesself...well.... a little insightful anyway...
On the downsde this thing is verbaly and teturally dense as
anything...limiting (in my opinion) the readership to those who have the
will to slog.
