This is another setting up chapter. Chapter 16 is titled "Visions." I
can't believe this chapter has taken me this long to write. NEway, I don't
like it too much. Have fun reading and constructive C & C are welcome.

HUNTER AND PREY
Ch 16 Visions
They were silent as they walked to Kuwabara's house. Kurama was observing
the other two youkais beside him while Hiei was looking around for possible
youki. As for Ryuma, he was just ... walking.
"Ryuma, what is it?" Kurama ventured.
"Nothing," Ryuma replied.
"If you have something to say, you may as well say it instead of holding it
in as if it were some big secret," Hiei muttered under his breath, lacking
his usual tone of harshness.
"Sonoma...he..." Ryuma started then stopped.
"What about Sonoma?" Kurama asked.
"I lied," Ryuma said as they arrived at Kuwabara's doorstep. "I was the
one who chose to come with you two, Sonoma was opposed to it."

"Where is he?" Sonoma asked Yukina.
"Ah, in that room," she replied. "I've gotten the poison out of his system.
He has some broken ribs but other than that, he will be fine."
"Broken ribs huh?" Ryuma glanced at Hiei. "You must have done a number on him?"
"Hn!"
Others follow Ryuma as he entered the room. He took a look at Yukon and
then turned to Kurama.
"Were you the one who poisoned him?"
"Yes," Kurama replied. "but it won't kill him."
"Hm... well, his youki is returning at a drastic speed," Ryuma observed.
"I'm sure that he'll want to hunt down Sonoma once he has recovered."
"So what's the deal with those two?" Yusuke suddenly spoke up. No one had
noticed his coming into the room. "Care to enlighten us, whoever you are?"
"Ryuma," Ryuma said to Yusuke. "and may I ask who you are?"
"Urameshi, Yusuke." Yusuke replied evenly.
"I've already said too much," Ryuma said. "I don't think my brother will
want more people knowing about it. Perhaps another time."
"Your brother?!" Yusuke said in surprise. "Wait a minute, I'm really
missing something here. What's been going on here?"
"Yeah! Tell me!" Demanded Kuwabara. "How come I never know anything?"
"Shut up baka!" Hiei said to Kuwabara.
"Why you little shrimp...!!!"
"Ah, minna," Kurama interrupted. "why don't we all go out and let Ryuma
take care of this? Please."

*So this is the person who tries to kill my brother...* Ryuma thought.
Yukon felt someone with strong youki sitting next to him and opened his
eyes in alarm. But the person he saw was no one he recognized.
"Who...are you?"
"So you tried to kill my brother huh?" Ryuma said.
"Your..." Yukon stared.
"Don't you want to know his side of the story?" Ryuma laughed softly. "You
don't know a thing about Sonoma. You have NO idea what he had went through."
"I DON'T need your comments!" Yukon hissed. "Get out!"
"You should know that I am capable of killing you," Ryuma replied coldly.
"whether you liked it or not, I am going to let you know all the sufferings
that he has gone through. I am going to let you see his visions. Sonoma
deserves much more than this."
Then in a swift movement, Ryuma put his hand on Yukon's forehead. Yukon's
eyes opened wide in surprise, he then fell back onto the bed as he lost
consciouness once more.
