Heh... I'm actually pondering a fanfic where I insert a new female
character into the Ranma cast who causes nothing but trouble for Ranma and
co. (intentionally and unintentionally) And no, she won't be a one of
those long lost fiances if I do this. 

	Go for it! One reason in particular--most new character fics
involve a guy appearing. The few that have a female very often include her
as one of those fiancees forgotten....
