I have an idea. I was wondering what people would think of my setting
up an Email request for fanfic stories. It would be run by myself. That
is to say, it would not be automated, and It'd take about 24-36 hours
for me to get the file(s) sent out to people. Does anyone think this is
a good idea? My reason for setting this up is that I have often had way
too many problems trying to find Fanfics of one story or another.
It is a very good idea, if you can manage to make everyone aware of what you are
doing so that they will send their fic requests to you,

I'd appreciate any comments people have on this idea.
Would I need to get every author's permission before distributing their
stories? I had originally planned to distribute stories by authors that
gave me permission to.
I think that anything that has been distributed publically (i.e. posted on the
ML) can be re-distributed freely. Just make sure you are sending out the latest
version of the fics in question. At any rate, feel free to send any of my stuff
to anyone who wants it.
