Panda: [sign] Very well, they shall be married.
Girl: But I'm not --
Soun: Not ready for marriage? That's ok. You don't have to
marry her right away.
Girl: Tendou-san. May I ask you one favour?
Soun: Anything for my daughter-in-law.
Eh? So this time, Soun knew "he" was a "she" and was _still_ willing to marry
"her" to one of his daughters???
(Minutes later, Kasumi comes back from the kitchen with hot water.
The girl pours some on herself and the panda.
The girl turns into Genma.
The panda turns into Ranma.)
Heh. Sneaky. Really sneaky. I missed this little discrepency the first time
through. You just grow _so_ accustomed to conventions...
<SNIP>
Genma: But I'm already married!
Kasumi: Nodoka always struck me as the liberal type. Maybe she
won't mind sharing you.
O_O I doubt anyone in the Ranmaverse would be so liberal about this "minor
oversight". I always thought marriage in the Ranmaverse had a certain
finality to it. Y'know, "Till death do us part"? It was this finality that
made Ranma's fiance dilemma all the more entertaining. And it's this same
finality that makes "sharing" out of the question in the series.
Genma: Ranma! You have to marry Akane! Not me!
Ranma: Sorry. You already engaged me to three other people.
Once I deal with them, maybe I'll marry Akane. Maybe.
Until then, you're stuck with her.
_Three_ others? He's _already_ engaged to Kodachi? What'd Genma sell him to
_her_ for? Anti-toxins?!
Genma: Yes, but *you* were supposed to marry her.
Soun: We made an agreement, Genma. I cannot bring dishonour
upon my name by breaking it.
Would even _Soun_ hold Genma to such an agreement, knowing that he was already
married?
Akane: (brandishing mallet) GENMA NO BAKA!
And Genma enters LEO.
There really is justice. :)
So..should I continue....
(And Any C&C welcome)
O_O Well, it's up to you, isn't it. Of course, you're gonna have to play off
this "age difference" gag to its fullest extent. If you already have plans
for this, by all means. If not, awwwww what the heck. Write s'more, anyways.

*ahem* And, um, _this_ would be your idea of _normal_? :)
