Short, but very effective.  Your pace is consistent with 
the manga, which, if continued, I assume would have a happy ending.  
Therefore, I think the pace was absolutely perfect for the content.  With 
your perfect pace came a relatively simple plot, which suited 
complemented the original flavor well.  One thing: BAD PUNS ARE AWESOME!  
Every fic should have at least one per chapter.  Here's to hoping that 
you'll provide more
