the really grotesque stuff though. I'm a neophyte,
so I've mostly been exposed to the ubiquitous stuff.
Ranma, SailorMoon, AMG.
I love any anime I saw as a kid (mutilated Gatchaman
and Yamato, mostly.)

and folksy stuff and anything with Shane McGowan or Tom
Waits. I also really jazz and blues. I avoid Top 40 type
music unless it's from before about 1988. Everyone I know
hates some aspect of my musical taste. I'm a big Mahler fan.
