	I've experienced this problem myself so I can sympathise.  They have odd
birthdays that landed them a grade ahead of people in their actual age group. 
The opposite happened to me.

There are few things in this world that cannot be fixed with the 
appropriate application of High Explosives..  or duct tape, 
lots of duct tape...
