Why do I write fanfics?

Because it becomes impossible *not* to write them.  An idea just
has to come out, and there's nothing you can do about it.

I don't consider myself a writer.  I always failed Creative Writing,
and hated essays.  But occasionally, something will grip me and 
won't let go. A monologue, or a fanfic.

The key is to be quick.  If you can get it down as it hits you,
it's easy.  (Proposal and Wedding were written in the space of a 
week.)  If you think too much about it, though, it's dangerous.
(Honeymoon.  Thought too much, took 4 months.)

Basically, as I said, I write because the alternative is too
difficult to accept.
