I am Currently trying to come up with ideas for my first >fanfic and am
considering doing a Ranma 1/2-Street Fighter crossover. >Who do you think
would win in a fight between ranma and ryu? (Honor and >other things aside.
Let's just say they were forced to fight each other.)
It very much depends on the situation. If it's in street fighter style
format with fixed length matches in specific arena's, Ryu will have a distinct
advantage. If the setting's more flexible, Ranma's advantages of Tenacity and
creative genius in any application of Martial arts will give him a distinct
advantage.
Oh, and here's a quick idea for combining the two setings:
Ranma needs Money to buy Akane a birthday present. Many dealings with
Nabiki have left him looking for an alternative to asking her, so when he
learns about a street fighter tournament he decides to enter. He takes on the
various challengers and wins easialy. However there was one of the master
street fighters watching, and they decide to challenge him. Ranma's gotten the
money he wants, but a) he doesn't know how to refuse a challenge, b) he is
offered a big cash incentive just to show up (when a world warrior fights, the
promoters are guarenteed a packed house.) and c) he's familiar enough with the
world warrior to want the chance to try them one on one.
