True... Since the SF world and the Ranma world have _some_ reliance
upon our physics.

The circumstances requiring a Hiryuu Shouten Ha would also make avoiding
one impossible once it's thrown. Your opponent has to be hot from anger,
which means that he would be very seriously pissed off and not thinking
straight. Ryu would never see it coming.

But... Ryu is a very cool fighter.  How would Ranma fire off a Hiryu 
Shoten Ha if his opponent isn't pissed off, which Ryu never is?  Even in
the SF Movie, Ryu was extremely cool.  Frustrated, upset and hurting but
extremely cool.  Unlike Ken, who continually attacked a non-fighting Ryu.
