If Rei were ALSO a Fiancee (not to replace Ukyou/Shampoo/et all)
that would set up lots of silly stick out tongue contests between
them

Don't know how you'll make him do it, but I have this vision of Ranma,
in the full Tuxedo, Top Hat, Cape and Mask, hurling the rose, stumbling
through an encouragment speech, and just then getting splashed with cold
water...

Come OOOnn, You KNOW you want to do it...
