Welcome to the repost of my latest fic, mostly to fix the obvious
errors and mispellings. I've also removed the part about me turning
this into a Lemon, I don't think I could if I wanted to.
This story is a bit of a departure for me and something that just kinda
came up, please C&C it and also let me know if anyone else has done
something like it. I refuse to steal or even seem like I'm stealing if
I can help it.
Thanks Rumiko Takahashi and Hiromi Hasegawa and Kiyoshi
Okuma for creating this characters
Thanks Richard Lawson for making me feel OK about the
world even if it was only for a little while.
Lonely Hearts and Furry Faces
Most cats hated cold water. Shampoo simply LOATHED it. Her
delivery bike, along with the Ramen it contained, had fallen to the side
of the road, as the sudden rain storm and the change it brought over
her, had left it.
She sighed to herself, at least the Masaki Residence, the
Ramen's intended destination, was close by. Perhaps she could wait out
the rain in there, maybe even find some hot water. Setting off for the
large house in the distance, she cursed her luck. This was not for the
first or the last time.
Shampoo crept quietly along the grounds of the Masaki home,
carefully leaped over the back gate and approached a window she hoped
might lead to a bathroom. Suddenly, she was no longer alone. A slight
twinge in her spine and a sound in her sensative ears announced the
newcomer.
Ryo-Ohki studied the cat with interest and also a little bit of
apprehension. Real, biological cats always responded to her with fear
or sometimes outright revulsion. To them, she was something unnatural.
Her humaniod companions treated her as a pet or maybe a warship, kindly,
but still not as a human companion. Sadly, Ryo-Ohki prepared itself for
more rejection, she was stuck between two worlds, and neither could
really ever understand how she felt.
Shampoo was fascinated. Never had she seen such a breed of
feline before. It seemed to have been breed for simple kawii's sake.
It had large eyes, huge ears and the crystal on it's forehead, Shampoo
very much wanted to cradle the thing close to her. The thought shocked
her, she was a Amazon and while that sort of thing was fine for other
girls,(and for seduceing future Husbands) it had no place in the mind of
a warrior . Then she noticed, the creature seemed to be...crying! Her
heart melted.
Purring softly, Shampoo nuzzled Ryo-Ohki's head, causing the
cabbit to meow in shock and exceitment. This cat was NOT going to hiss
a challenge or try to run away, this feline wanted to comfort her! With
a sudden movement, the cabbit twisted away from the pink cat and faced
it, meowing a playfull challenge.
Shampoo blinked, did that cat just SAY "meow"? Must have been
imagining it she thought to herself. Smiling inwardly, she leapt at the
cat, ready to pounce on her new playmate. Ready to anyway, but the
cabbit was not where she had been. Shampoo looked about curiosly, not
noticing the half submerged cabbit behind her. With a triumphant howl,
Ryo-Ohki launched itself from it's hiding place, phased into the ground,
at the cat. Speed and an incredible combat sense allowed the pink
kitten to jump up just in time, her follow through, however, was less
then spectacular and the two tumbled into a heap.
Shampoo laughed inwardly and helped the cabbit up with her head
underneath it's belly. She wished she could go on playing, but the rain
had frozen her to the bone and she REALLY needed that hot water. Smiling
as best she could, she leapt away from the cabbit and up to the window
sill. The Gods hadn't abandoned her yet, it was a bathroom!
Ryo-ohki watched her new freind with curiosity, then she flew
levitated up to the window and sat beside Shampoo, who was already
exploring the bathroom. Her playmate seemed to be looking for
something, she leapt into the tube and then began to stare hard at the
faucet.
"Shampoo no baka," thought Shampoo, slightly surprised at the
use of the Japanese words so often screamed by her perverted tomboy
rival, "how am I going to turn the faucets like this?"
Ryo-ohki studied her carefully, then turned to the faucets. A
light emerged from her head gem, and the faucet's began to turn. Water
poured in the tub as the other cat looked up at her in thanks and
confusion. Then, her friend began to change!
Shampoo, now human again, turned the nob, cutting the water
off. Smiling, she turned to her strange new friend. The cabbits eyes
seemed to glisten like jewels and Shampoo wondered if her change had
upset the poor thing. Then, a female form leaped on top of her,
smashing into her in a bonecrushing embrace. She looked down and saw a
small child, fur still clinging to it's face and wild mane barely
covering her enormous ears.
Ryo-Ohki used a phrase she had heard her counterpart use
whenever she remembered her long solitude in the cave. "I...I was SO
lonely!" she began to cry.
Shampoo, still not sure exactly what was going on, looked down
at the young girl. Softly and tenderely, she began to rock her back and
forth. "Shampoo knowing, was lonely too."
End
This was originally going to be a Lemon fic, but when I started
it, I just didn't have the heart to do it.
