I'm sitting here reading some old fanfics, and I stumble across Best of all
the Years, by Chris Davies.  Towards the end of that story, there is a scene
where Sailor Mars throws off a cloak to reveal, not her senshi uniform, but
army camos.  That got me to thinking.  What if some sick person took Sailor
Moon and the senshi, and turned them into cool, calculating, efficient
killers.  In short, what if the Senshi were Navy SEALs?

Ahhh...I can see it now.

        Sailor Moon stalked the youma through the jungle path.  This youma
was good.  It hid it's tracks rather well.  Not a blade of grass bent out of
shape, not a branch broken.  Just then, the clearing fell quiet.  The youma
may have been good, but it just made a fatal flaw.  It dropped from the
branch it had been sitting on to try and surprise her.  It didn't work. She
simply kicked back as the youma landed, impaling it's testicles on the heel
of her boot.  The youma fell to ground, writhing in pain as Sailor Moon
whirled around and drew a bead on it with her SPAS-12 shotgun.  "Best hunt
I've had in a while.  Time to die."  With that, she blew the bastards head
off.  She muttered a quick prayer for the poor soul whose body the youma
inhabited, but did not shed any tears.  This was a war.  There would be time
to grieve after they had won.  "Mercury, I'm getting a make on the guy.
Seems to be wearing a high school uniform.  Looks like Furinkan.  Checking
the wallet now."  Sailor Moon paused to reach into the corpse's pocket,
withdrawing a wallet.  "Hiroshi something.  Can't ID his last name. Over."
Sailor Moon noticed the money in the wallet.  "Well, you won't be needing
this anymore." she said as she stuffed it in one of her pockets.  "Mercury,
this is Moon.  I'm returning to base.  One more bastard down."
