In the land of Fanfic......

It was a prosperous land .  Filled with authors, critics, and lurkers....  And
White Wolf looked down from on high and saw that it was good.  People
came and went....  and Fanfic began to grow.... and grow.... and grow.....
It grew so much that it became over crouded....  White Wolf looked down
and saw the overcrowding....   It even taxed his capacity for the land of
Fanfic....   So He spake unto the people....  and said, "Thou hast grown to
many for such a land,   yea, even to the point of taxing my capacity of
keeping Fanfic prosperous.  Therfore, I shall banish you....  You may
return under your own power.... But you must fast 48 hours.....  no posts,
none what so ever..... to show your worthiness of existing in the land of
Fanfic."  So with a wave of his hand, he banished the populace of Fanfic,
and scrubbed it clean.  So, one by one, and in groups.....  the authors,
critics, and lurkers treked back to the land of Fanfic.   WhiteWolf looked
down from on high and saw that it was good.....
