superior planets.

Only two of them, Haruka/Sailoruranus and Michiru/Sailorneptune are
"lesbians." This is primarily because the mythology behind the two planets
is related to homosexuality, and therefore their personalities.

Sailormars/Rei is more masculine in the manga, and Sailorvenus/Minako is
the epitome of feminity. They are often posed with each other, touching
each other, there is obviously some sort of slightly homosexual
relationship behind the two, but they also both like boys, so this isn't
really true. I am going to address this in my "A Love to Last For All Time"
story... eventually.
^_^ The only TRUE lesbian seems to be Haruka/Sailoruranus, who has a thing
for all women (it seems, she goes for Usagi, and other girls, Michiru is
always getting jealous), and that Michiru just loves Haruka, I'm pretty
sure Michiru would love Haruka if she was a boy or a girl, and probably
vice versa.

Hotaru/Sailorsaturn is NOT a lesbian. She likes boys just like any other
very young teen (I think she is about 13?)

Setsuna never really shows any preferance... but she always gives Haruka
and Michiru strange looks when they get all "romancy" so I think she is
probably heterosexual too.

All of the Sailor past Jupiter are considere the Outers. Only Neptune and
Uranus are lesbians. I can't remember which mythology it referst to
though.

However, Makato (Sailor Jupiter) is attracted to Haruka (sp?) (Sailor
Uranus)
when they first meet (see Hitoshi Doi's On line Sailor Moon
Encyclopedia),
so the short answer to Andrew's question could be "Yes, all Outers are."

Nope. Jupiter gets over it, goes back to guys. This never happens in the
manga (not that I remember) though USAGI has a thing for Haruka too (even
though she knows that Haruka is a girl), so much so that Mamarou gets jealous.

In the manga Makoto/Jupiter is more inclined toward cooking, keeping house,
the perfect domestic wife despite her strength. I would be willing to bet
that she was "confused" when she was attracted to Haruka, and that she
really likes boys. 'Nuff said.

I don't think Sailor Pluto "gets out" enough for her preference to be 
established.
