So, we'll try posting this AGAIN.

Let's try this again, shall we?

There is a world somewhere in space and time where the
characters of fiction live, awaiting their chance to once more
        step out onto the stage.

Actually, there are a lot of such worlds.

And on one such world, the Characters of Anime Fanfic
(America) await their chance to appear in yet another story to
be posted to groups such as rec.arts.anime.creative,
        alt.fan.bgc, alt.fan.sailor-moon, alt.fan.rumiko-takahashi and
        the Fan Fiction Mailing List.

Some feel they've been waiting too long.

And now, the battle begins: the Champions of American fanfic
against the Wannabes, in a grand cosmic battle for the hearts
and minds of the fanfic writing masses.

The battlefield: the world of anime.

	The prize: dominance over RAAC.

	These are... the FicWars.

	FIC WARS

Chapter 3- My Obnoxious Alien is More Obnoxious Than Yours!

by Kevin Eav and Kris Overstreet

	Ranma 1/2 v. Dragonball!
	Bubble Gum Crisis v. TenchiMuyo!!
	Ranma 1/2 and ID4 v. Pretty Sammy!

A large crowd sat and stood assembled in the courtyard of
Tomobiki High School, contemplating the setbacks of the past two days.
The Sailor Scouts, more than a little bit annoyed with their
less-than-Fearless Leader, sat beside Kasumi, who was eagerly
discussing the finer points of being a Magical Girl (again, thank you
Mr. Beaubein) with Sailor Venus. Behind them, Mousse was busy
mistaking Shinobu for Shampoo, and proceeding with great speed towards
severe bodily harm. Ryunosuke was catching up with gossip with her
cousin Ukyo, while her father and Genma discussed the merits of the
Male Chauvenist way of life.
The Kuno siblings, Tatewaki and Kodachi, sat beside Shutaro
Mendou and grumbled; after agreeing to host the fleeing Ranma and
Sailor-Moon casts in their estate, they'd ended up fleeing along with
them when the Norns had attacked. In front of them, Soun Tendo wailed
for the loss of his home, while Akane and Ranma tried to comfort him.
Shampoo, in turn, wanted to comfort Ranma, but was getting pestered by
Ataru, who in turn was getting pestered by Lum and Megane's 'Lum's
Stormtroopers.'
Nabiki pushed a large blackboard out onto the school grounds
in front of them, with a general tactical layout of the war so far. A
rough map showed all the major landmarks of the Ranma 1/2 cast taken
by the enemy, except Dr. Tofu's offices.
        "Why not Tofu's?" Ranma asked.
Nabiki smiled her Eeeeevil (TM) (C) ® (ETC) smile. "I managed
to track down Gosunkugi and ordered him to go to Dr. Tofu's and tell
him, any time one of the enemy came in sight, that Kasumi was
visiting." The smile deepened. "So far, none of them have gotten the
courage to try to attack him."
"Nabiki!" Kasumi objected. "That's cruel and insensitive!"
Nabiki shrugged. "What's the problem?" Returning to the board,
she ran down a short list: Ryouga, Tuxedo Kamen, Tsubasa,
Hinako-sensei, Konatsu, Sasuke, Luna, Artemis, Chibiusa. "These are
our list of Missing, Presumed Captured," she said. "Most notably, we
could have used Miss Hinako during the attack on the Kuno home... and
Ryouga is, in all honesty, the second-most-powerful member of -our-
cast we have." Turning to face the others, she continued, "In return,
we have captured or incapacitated -none- of their forces, although I
doubt the Tank Police will be attacking again too quickly.
"Now, I want to show all of you how things stand- as far as we
know- at the moment." Nabiki flipped the blackboard over, revealing a
rough list on the other side.

        US THEM
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Ranma 1/2 Tenchi Muyo!/Pretty Sammy
Sailor Moon Gatchaman
Tekkaman Dominion Tank Police
Urusei Yatsura Oh My Goddess!
			Iczer One

"Having the Goddesses come in on the -other- side is an
extreme dissapointment," Nabiki grumbled. "Oh My Goddess is one of the
more popular series on RAAC, with multiple shrines and fan series...
learning that they've sided with the 'wanna-bes' makes an already
troublesome position look even more so."
Most of the crowd agreed silently. Already the situation
seemed apt to escalate, and not in their favor; if other popular
series, such as Dragonball or Bubble Gum Crisis, chose to preserve
their positions at the expense of the assembled series, the war could
end all too quickly...
Nabiki paced back and forth, back and forth. The assembled
crowd stared at her as she paced. "Reinforcements. We need
reinforcements." Everyone nodded in agreement. "But who? Who else?"
Cologne looked up. "I may know someone..."
        Nabiki paused. "Who?"
Cologne, for once, seemed slightly inconfident. "They're very
secretive, and we'd need to pay them, but they do good work. Very
good work."
People were starting to get frustrated. "WHO???"
Cologne blinked. "Why, the Knight Sabers, of course."
Ranma twitched. "No. Oh no. Not them again." His mind drifted
back to several crossover fics, one incident in particular...
"But why not?" Nabiki asked, intently curious.
Ranma kept twitching. "That Priss.. she'll.. she'll try and
*kill* me after what happened.."
All of a sudden, Akane got suspicious. She rounded on Ranma,
glaring with jealousy. "What happened? Hmm?"
Ranma blinked. "Er... no, it's not like that, Akane!"
        Akane started to glow. "Rrrannnnnnmaaaaa........"
Ranma threw his hands up in defense. "No,
wait,Akaneee-------*" That last was because Akane had booted him into
Low Earth Orbit (a state Ranma has had many opportunities to get used
to).
Shinobu looked over at Akane. "Nice form."
"Thanks," Akane nodded, flexing her arm slightly.
Ataru winced in sympathy for poor Ranma for a moment; then,
disregarding all signs of retribution at hand, he sidled up to
Shampoo and went for the gusto.
*GLOMP* "Hey, baby!! You're cute, how about a date?"
*WHAM* "You no *touch* Shampoo, pervert-type boy!"
*ZAP* "Don't you dare hurt my Darling! That's MY job!"
*GLOMP* "Ah, Sweeto! Such a lovely feeling!"
        "EEEEEEEEEEEEKK!!"
Nabiki sweated as the meeting degenerated into chaos. Just
once, she thought, can't we all be sane for more than a few minutes...

-------------------------------------------------------------------

        Meanwhile...

Ryouga wandered around. Every time he thought he'd found a
way out, he'd just wandered into some other place that wasn't out. He
was getting *very* depressed. Incredibly depressed. He was able to
see clearly, despite the fact that all the lights in the... place...
had been shut down... he briefly wondered why... and he wondered where
all those ellipses were coming from, too. <I cannot be concerned with
*punctuation*! I must get to Akane-san!>
Five more doors... and.... five more failures. <What *is*
this place, some sort of hyper-dimensional room?????>
Finally, he could stand no more. "AKANE-SAN!!!!!" he shouted
in despair, using his despair to fuel a massive Mokkou Takibasha
blast. He then sagged to the floor unconscious, and thereby missed
the cracking of a large water tank a short distance away...
...and within that tank, the gelatinous creatures known as the
Mass picked up on the despair, and the object of Ryouga's obsession,
and acted. It echoed the poor unconscious Ryouga's thoughts.. "Must
find Akane..." and blasted its way out of its tank, assuming a shape
roughly like Ryouga's and vanishing into the depths of the Lab.
Through it all, Ryouga- now P-Chan, thanks to all the water
liberated by the Mass' escape- slept and dreamt nasty dreams of a bad
fanfic commercial...

"...and now, Lorne Green, with a few words for P-Chan brand
dog food."
        "P-Chan- the meat -everybody- loves."

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Late afternoon, Tomobiki High School. With the insanity
finally sorting itself out, the men of the group had organized a
basketball game, while the females had gone off somewhere to (a) plan
strategy, or (b) avoid Happousai and his newest student, Ataru
Moroboshi.
Ranma's team- consisting of Ranma, Mousse, Kuno, Soun and
Genma- were basically wiping the half-court against the Tomobiki crew,
composed of Mendou, Parm, Megane, Ryunosuke, and Ataru. This was not
so much because of any athletic advantage the Ranma 1/2 cast had, but
more because Ataru simply couldn't be kept on the court. So far, he'd
tried his new Pantythief No Jitsu moves out on Shinobu, Sakura, Ukyo,
Kasumi (is nothing sacred with this guy? jeez), and even Cologne
(although that was mostly a result of being hit with lightning,
mallets, spatulas, desks, and the basketball one time too many).
"And Ranma 'the Terminator' Saotome goes up for 3! Swish! The
crowd goes wild!!" Ranma was clearly enjoying himself, able to forget
the danger he and his were in for the moment.
"You're just lucky, Saotome!" Mendo called out, passing the
ball to Ryunosuke. "But true greatness will show itself! Thus speaks
Shutaro Mendou!"
"Aw, give it a rest, Mendou!" Ryunosuke grumbled, dribbling
towards the basket- and suddenly blocked by Kuno, who held a rose out
to her.
"Alas," he sighed, "'tis a bittersweet thing to meet such a
lovely creature as yourself upon the field of contest, for truly my
heart is torn 'twixt Winged Nike, Victory in her glory, and Aphrodite,
the goddess of love..." While Ryu tried to make sense of this
statement, Kuno picked up the basketball from where it had settled at
her feet. "Please forgive me this dishonor, milady, but for today,
Victory calls," he said, and passed the ball to Mousse, who for a
wonder caught it.
"WHY YOU.... YOU..." Ryunosuke landed a powerful uppercut on
Kuno's heroic jaw, and upwards he flew, passing Ataru in midair.
        "Poser," Ataru said.
        "Talentless lech," Kuno replied.

Meanwhile, Sailor Mercury and Nabiki were planning strategy in
Onsen Mark's office, having kicked him out. Nabiki reviewed the
various lists the two had organized, documenting their strengths,
weaknesses, and most propituous strategies and tactics.
"Okay, so we've got Dr. Tofu and Sakura-sensei for medical
support," Nabiki said, "although Tofu will have to be used only for
dire emergencies. Ranma, Lum, Jupiter and Mars are the big guns,
maybe adding Moon if she can ever get her brain in gear..."
"It does happen, sometimes," Mercury shrugged. "When the chips
are -really- down, Usagi can pull it together... most of the time,
anyway."
Nabiki paused for a moment, then decided to let the comments,
and opportunities to follow up on same, pass. ".. I'm really glad that
the Tomobiki folks agreed to join us," she said at last, "but we still
need more help. I wonder how Cologne's contacts are going."
Suddenly, the quiet was broken by Ataru's sick, demented
laugh, and a shout of "DAAAAHLING NO BAKA!!!!!!!!!!!!!" The sounds of
electric discharge and crisped Moroboshi soon followed.
Akane's voice rang out. "Gee.. wonder where I can learn how to
do that?"
Ami shook her head, sighing. "How're we gonna win with all
this infighting going on??"
Nabiki touched Ami's hand gently. "We'll find a way."
Ami glanced down at the hand on hers, Nabiki's warm touch
running through her body, thrilling her in places she only very
occasionally got to explore- at least on-screen. Looking up, she saw a
deep longing in Nabiki's eyes, a desire for companionship of any
sort...
And right about then, Kasumi came to the room. "Hi! I brought
snacks for you two, because you're working so hard," she smiled,
totally oblivious to the scene before her.
Nabiki and Ami broke contact hastily and coughed and hemmed
and hawed. "Um.. er.. thanks, oneechan. Just leave them right there
and we'll bring the dishes out. Right Ami?" Nabiki sputtered, flushing
slightly with embarrassment.
"Right, right. Thanks again, Kasumi-san." Ami added, blushing
beet- red herself
Kasumi took no notice. Smiling sweetly, she said "All right
then. I hope you enjoy them, they're very good," and stepped out of
the room. Before shutting the door, she added, "They're very high in
potassium, you know... not to mention Vitamin E." With that, she shut
the door, leaving the pair in a state of mild shock.
With the moment broken, Mercury and Nabiki returned to plans,
carefully avoiding any mention of what had just occurred.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

The Tendo dojo was occupied, but not by its usual (or even
unusual) occupants. Instead, several of the TenchiMuyo! cast members
were enjoying the spoils of victory, in some cases in a powerful hurry
lest they become spoiled. Kasumi's cooking, even leftovers, is simply
not to be missed.
Up in Kasumi's room, Aeka was celebrating their victory.
This, for her, consisted of a large, and I mean *large*, bottle of
sake and some cookies, both of which she had found stashed beneath
Kasumi's bed alongside an object which can be simply referred to as,
'Mr. Happy.' Currently, she was getting *very* red. And *very* drunk.
"Tenchi! Oh.... Tenchi!!!!" she called, seeking a willing...
playmate... to do things which might or might not involve lemons,
oysters, and vitamin-E and phosphate supplements.
Luckily for Tenchi, he wasn't anywhere near the place.
Alielle, however, was, acting as a 'scout' for the El-Hazard cast, who
hadn't yet decided which side to back in the fanfic wars. Kawaii, she
thought to herself, and she moved in for the kill.
Aeka found herself being glomped. By someone warm. And soft.
She decided that right now, she didn't mind. "Ooooh... hm, Ryouko....
oh, let's have some fun, bakemono..."
"Yes, ma'am, kawaii lady," Alielle replied.
Aeka looked down in shock, and then alarm. "Eeeek! You're not
Ryouko!" Looking again, she screeched louder. "EEEEK! You're
UNDERAGE!"
"So what?" Alielle said. "Lots of people have Lolita
complexes."
"That doesn't matter!" Aeka gasped. "We could get prosecuted
in America! This- this is-"
"Awww...." Alielle moaned. "And I thought we could have such a
nice time, Mistress..."
"Mistress?" Aeka's eyebrow quirked, and something in the back
of her mind went -sproing-...

"I'm telling you, they're going to counterattack." Sasami
said, cooking dinner while Youshou, alias 'Grandpa,' sipped tea and
thought. "I can feel it coming. We have to prepare."
"Hrm... perhaps you're right, Sasami-chan. I'll go get
Tenchi, ask him what he thinks of it." Youshou got up and left the
room.
Tenchi and Ryouko were making out in the dojo. Why? Because
they felt like it. Youshou peeked in, and smiled to himself when he
saw the pair engaged in a position only possible by intense athletic
training and the grace of perverted sukebe writers. "Tenchi, when
you're done, I need your help with something."
"Yeah, yeah, okay, just gimme a few minutes.." Tenchi was
wrapped around Ryouko, and vice versa, so it'd take a few minutes to
disentangle themselves anyways.
Youshou nodded, "Very well, Tenchi. Oh, Ryouko, I see you've
been working out," he winked, sliding the door shut behind him.
Tenchi managed to disentangle himself, pulling his shirt back
on. Phasing into a loose set of pajamas, Ryouko cursed., "Darn.
Everytime we start something, someone interrupts."
Tenchi grinned. "Don't worry... I'll be back."
Ryouko pouted sullenly for a moment before thinking aloud,
"Hey... where's Nobuyuki..?"

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

        Meanwhile (again)...

Cologne was on the phone. "Yeah. Yeah.. Right.. So you'll
help? That's great, Sylia. Thanks. No, no problem, I was glad to help.
Right. Tomobiki High School. You know how to get here? Right, take a
left at the first dimensional parkway. Great, thanks."
Cologne set the phone down. The stage was set... now, so long
as nothing interfered in the next few hours, their forces could
advance and reclaim their home turf... and then push the enemy back
into their home base, and beyond.
Suddenly, a loud explosion shook the windows of Tomobiki High,
and Cologne sighed and shook her head. Well, she thought to herself, I
only hope the Knight Sabers can handle this on their own.
Ouside, Vegita stared impassively at the small group of
characters who hadn't been knocked out by his first blast. This
consisted of Sailor Moon (who'd managed to dodge, as usual), Ranma,
Akane, Shampoo, and Ataru (who was simply too dumb to know he should
pass out). "I am Vegita," he growled, flexing his muscles
impressively. "Is there any left of you with the power to challenge
me?"
Ranma stepped forward. "I'll challenge you," he growled.
Akane and Shampoo leaped forward, grabbing Ranma to hold him
back. "No, Ranma!" she said. "That's a Dragonball character! They
fight even more than we do!"
"Violent girl talk sense," Shampoo said. "You not fight
alone."
Vegita chuckled. "You, Ranma Saotome? I know your skills,
youth, and am not impressed. I can destroy a small island with my ki
blasts. You can only perform minor parlor tricks by comparison. How
can you even think of standing against me?"
"Two reasons," Ranma said calmly, pushing away the girls.
"First off, I'm the hero of my series, which means in the end, I
always win... and you, my friend, are not the hero of your series."
"Point," Vegita nodded, "but only a small one."
"The second reason," Ranma grinned, "is that although I don't
need the help of my friends..." His ki began to glow, charging into a
brilliant aura around his body, as he continued, "... I won't be
fighting alone.

	"JYUSENKYO PLOT DEVICE FISSION ATTACK!"

        The glow of Ranma's ki flared, and his body seemed to shimmer;
then, it split, as if in double-vision, and resolved into two forms,
male and female. The glow faded, and the female Ranma grinned, "How
d'ya like them apples?"
Vegita gaped incredulously at the twin Ranmas. "That- that's
not possible!" he gasped.
"Hey," Ranma grinned, "how did you think we cast all those
fanfics where both of us are present?" With that, he fell into a
powerful-looking stance, shouting, "I am the heir of the Saotome
School of Anything-Goes Martial Arts! The undefeated, Ranma Saotome!"
The female Ranma leaped high overhead, somersaulting and
landing in a graceful, but no less threatening, stance in front of
Ranma. "And I am -also- the heir of the Saotome School of
Anything-Goes Martial Arts! The graceful, swift yet strong, Ranko
Saotome!"
"And together," the two chorused, "we're going to kick your
butt!"
Vegita gaped at the two equally skilled martial artists,
quickly estimating the odds of him against two powerful, prepared
warriors.
"Perhaps another day, then," he said at last. "For now,
however, I have other targets to seek out and destroy." With that,
Vegita leaped high into the air and vanished.
"I didn't know he could do that," Ataru gasped.
"He can't," Akane growled. She picked up a loose piece of
cement from the ground and threw it into the air; it struck the clouds
with the sound of shattering glass, and Vegita stood atop a small
hovering platform, holding the fractured sides of a large mirror.
"Heh, heh... um, excuse me," he mumbled, retreating in a far
less cool fashion.
        "Vegita no baka," Akane mumbled.
"By the way, hot stuff," Ataru grinned, "what are you doing on
Friday night?"
Twin fists launched Ataru into the stratosphere, as both
Ranmas shouted, "LEAVE AKANE ALONE!"

	Explosions rocked the Tendo Dojo.
On the fence surrounding the dojo, four hardsuited figures
stood, staring at the minor destruction their challenging barrage had
wrought. As they watched, four figures stumbled out to meet them;
Tenchi, holding his sword at the ready; Youshou, apparently weaponless
but not the least bit defenseless; Ryouko, beamsaber glowing in the
twilight in harmony with her gleaming cat's eyes; and Pretty Sammy,
wielding her mace with intent to harm.
The white hardsuit spoke first: "Invaders, you will leave
this dwelling at once, or suffer the wrath of the Knight Sabers!"
"This is territory fairly won, child," Yoshou replied, "and
you will not get it without a fight."
"Bring it on, old man!" the blue-suited figure shouted. "I'm
in the mood for a good fight!"
"Patience, Priss," the white suit cautioned. To the defenders,
she said, "Then you will not surrender? I cannot be responsible for
the results if you don't."
"Be responsible for this!" Ryouko shouted, flying up and
throwing her sword into the green hardsuit, which fell backwards from
the fence and landed hard on the pavement outside.
"Linna!" Priss shouted, turning her back on the other
defenders.
"Pretty Sammy DREAM STRIKE!" Pretty Sammy shouted, sending a
blast of hearts directly into the blue suit.
Priss stopped, apparently unharmed, and said to nobody in
particular, "Thank you! Thank you, you're a terrific crowd! Let's get
this show rocking!" With that, she seemed to dance on the fence,
miraculously keeping her balance as she began singing the opening bars
of 'Mad Machine.'
Sylia shook her head in annoyance. "Nene, check on Linna, give
her backup," she said. Leaping down, she drew a sword from her back
and faced Tenchi. As she activated the magnetic shield around the
sword, both sharpening it and protecting it from Tenchi's mind-blade,
she sent a quick signal through her radio to the KnightWing.
As Tenchi and Sylia's swords clashed, Yoshou reentered the
house, running up to Kasumi's room and knocking. "Aeka?" he asked.
"We're under attack, can you come out and help?"
"GET THAT POINT OF VIEW AWAY FROM HERE!" Aeka shouted from the
other side of the door.
"Mistress... please don't stop.... I want more..." an
unfamiliar young girl's voice begged.
Yoshou shrugged and walked back down the stairs. Best not to
interfere, he thought; his sister hadn't changed a bit in 700 years.
Back outside, Pretty Sammy watched carefully as Sylia and
Tenchi dueled, Ryouko chased Linna and Nene around the neighborhood,
and Priss ran through her greatest hits for an invisible Hollywood
Bowl. She couldn't help Tenchi, not with the two circling each other
and slashing wildly with those swords. Ryouko apparently didn't need
help, at least not if the explosions were anything to go by... and
Priss wouldn't be back in the fighting until she'd exhausted her
extremely large supply of rock songs to sing.
"Looking for someone to fight?" a voice whispered in her ear.
Pretty Sammy spun around to see a tall... thing.... standing directly
behind her, smiling a cruel grin. "I am Vegita," it whispered, "and
you are my prey."
A tall, ghostly figure appeared behind Pretty Sammy; Achika
glared with righteous fury and shouted, "If you lay one finger on this
young woman, I'll...."
Vegita backed away in shock, which quickly turned to fear as
he saw the fire in Achika's eyes. "Um, pardon me, I have an
appointment with my florist," he mumbled, and vanished around the side
of the house.
Pretty Sammy turned and looked up at Achika. "What would you
have done if he hadn't run?"
"I would have said 'boo,'" Achika shrugged. "What -can- I do?
I'm a ghost, not an oni."
A low rumbling intruded into their conversation, and the two
looked up to see a large futuristic jet hovering over the gate of the
dojo. From above, Mackie's voice sounded through the KnightWing's
speakers: "SURRENDER NOW OR... BE VERY BADLY HURT!"
From the other side of the dojo, a small furry form leaped up
and, through the usual complex transformation, became a large,
crystalline starship. "MIYA!" it shouted, orienting itself on the
KnightWing.
Above both of them, clouds formed, lightning flashed, and a
City Destroyer ship (you know, the big saucers from ID4) oriented
itself above the Tendo dojo. Above them, a hologram of Pretty Sammy
shouted, "You will ALL surrender, or you and everything else in Nerima
will cease to exist!"
The Tenchi cast turned to look at the hologram, then down at
Pretty Sammy, and back again, and the Knight Sabers took the
opportunity to retreat.
"Something's not right here..." Youshou said, earning the
Understatement of the Month in RAAC for February 1997.

In the command center of the alien ship, the Pretty Sammy
impostor grinned cutely. "Ah, it feels so wonderful to have such
overwhelming firepower at my fingertips. Heeheeheeheeheh!"
One of the aliens turned to him and grunted, "Sir! The targets
are attempting to break into the ship!"
"Fools!" 'Pretty Sammy' grinned. "This is the supreme alien
invader ship! Their pitiful efforts could never succeed in penetrating
this-"
WHAM! The wall of the command center blew inward, and in the
gap stood Tenchi, Ryouko, and the real Pretty Sammy.
"Impossible!" the fake Pretty Sammy gasped. "How could you
break into my ultra-secure, hyper-advanced, mega-prefixed command
center?"
"Simple," Ryouko grinned. "The ID4 aliens are powerful... but
they're also terminally stupid."
"Just like you..." Tenchi grinned. "Right.... TSUBASA?"
The fake Pretty Sammy tore off its wig, revealing long blonde
curls and an overly cute face. "That's right, damn you!" Tsubasa
shouted. "My plan would have devastated your forces and set the
remainder at each others' throats... if it hadn't been for that
little... TOMBOY," he growled, pointing at Pretty Sammy.
        "....tomboy?" Pretty Sammy whispered.
Ryouko covered Tenchi's eyes. "Don't look, honey," she said,
"this is going to be messy."
        And it most certainly was.

Nabiki, Cologne, Sailor Mercury, and Sylia Stingray slumped in
Onsen-Mark's office, discouraged by the defeats of the day.
"So much for our counterattack," Nabiki grumbled.
"Priss hasn't stopped singing yet," Sylia moaned. "She's
working through the complete works of Guns and Roses."
"Again we severely underestimated our foe," Cologne grumbled.
"I do not intend to let that happen again."
"We still need reinforcements," Ami grumbled, "but where to
get them?"
"Excuse me," a tall dark figure mumbled from the shadows,
"...but may I be of assistance?"
The Mass-Ryouga, not having inherited the directional sense of
its template, found the doorway to the Lab without too much trouble.
With a blast of energy, the door shattered, and the Mass stepped out
into the Masaki home.
        "Akane... must find Akane Tendo..."

*WILL THE MASS BE AN ALLY OR ENEMY TO AKANE TENDO?
*WILL ATARU BECOME A DEVOTED MARTIAL ARTIST UNDER HAPPOUSAI'S
        TEACHING?
*WITH NABIKI, AMI, AEKA, ALIELLE, TENCHI AND RYOUKO, NOT TO
MENTION THE USUAL SUSPECTS IN THE RANMA AND UY CASTS, WILL
CHAPTER FOUR BECOME A LEMON FIC?
*WILL THE REST OF THE DRAGONBALL CAST JOIN VEGITA, OR BEAT HIM
UP FOR GETTING THEM INVOLVED IN THE FIRST PLACE?
*WHO'S THE TALL DARK GUY, ANYWAY, AND DOES HE ACTUALLY HAVE
ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE REST OF THE STORY?
        * AND WHERE -IS- NOBIYUKI, ANYWAY?

These questions may be answered in the next episode of
FicWars... but probably not.

	*AUTHOR'S NOTES*

Well, the Chapter Two which got posted to RAAC earlier was
very nice, indeed... but unfortunately, it kinda destroyed a different
plot which was in the works elsewhere. Oh, well, such is life... I
just wish you'd given me some warning, Christian.
Thanks to Kevin Eav, who gave me most of the plot for this
chapter, but was unable to sit down and finish it himself with all the
stuff on his calendar.
Also, thanks to Richard Beaubein (or however you spell that),
Christian Clark, the late Lorne Greene, and all the people who
actually own the copyrights for these characters and who haven't sued
yet. Special thanks to my proofreaders, who know who they are and will
get Serendipity Three written one of these years, honest. };-{D
Remember, anything I write, the Ranma-SM-and-allies team will
lose in... so don't be afraid to send in your own chapters! Just
remember:

	(1) NOBODY DIES.
	(2) NO AUTHOR CHARAS EXCEPT BY PERMISSION.
	(3) KEEP IT LIGHT AND SILLY, PLEASE.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got to edit a project which
will make me a target of uncounted flames and other unwanted emails...
