 Strangely enough all the comments I have gotten are close to yours...
 sort of a 
 "Boy that was really sick....but I could see Kuno doing that..."
 I guess this is an example of a character NOT being to out of character
and still being twisted....

 As for Kodachi...I don't think so...The same sort of behaviour would be
out of character for her....although some sort of trip into delusional
denial would be possible....all of those comments of hers about "fair
maidenly blushes" etc. I can't really say I see any sort of set-up
however...
