One would assume that the effect of Jusenkyo water differs slightly
according to the exact composition. We know that a Jusenkyo pool will
absorb characteristics of the first living creature that drowns in it,
or is immersed in it for a long enough time. It then forces those
characteristics on any other creature that it comes in contact with.
Exactly what characteristics are absorbed and transmitted would seem to
vary, probably due to slight differences in the composition of the
water. The water Ranma fell in had sex (and maybe species) information
only. The Akane pool was construced to have detailed appearance
information. There have been other kinds as well, like the "Good
Samaritan" water Pantyhose Taro once thought he had, and the duplicating
water that he actually did have.
