Thats probably because they had carbonic acid in 'em. Carbonic acid is what
makes soft drinks bubbly. It's also why aluminum cans have a plastic lining
inside 'em. If you look around, you can find out all sorts of neat things
about manufactured food, like ice cream has kelp in it and coca-cola got
it's name from one of it's original ingredients, cocaine. ;-)
